Fully funded personal licence training, incorporating the DBS required for application.

Best Practice People provide the Highfield Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders to eligible people either working, or wanting to work in the Hospitality Sector.

Course are short and included three weekly sessions of four hours per session. They are held locally in venues hired by us, or can be held in the workplace subject to suitability.

​

Everything is completely free to both the employer and those taking part in the course. We provide the qualification required to apply for a licence as well as the DBS, all paid for by us.

​

Eligibility is quite simple you must be either:

  • Employed earning less than £480 per week

  • Unemployed

​

Other eligibility criteria around nationalities and right to work apply. We will send this information upon enquiry, as most people are eligible.

How does the course work?

  • Once you have completed the enquiry form we will be in touch to discuss further. 

  • We will agree a start date and a venue,

  • Before the course starts we will ask for the contact details for each participant.

  • The course will run for three weeks with participants attending training for one four hour session per week.

  • The final session will include sitting the personal licence exam and completing the application for a DBS.

  • For each completer we will donate two bottles of Brixworth Spirits to the Business / Manager.NOTE:

 

It is not a mandatory requirement to apply for a personal licence. Some people like to attend to have the licence qualification for the future, and also benefit from the additional qualifications available.
